Smith & Wesson Model 500

I have wanted a .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum revolver since its introduction in 2003. I ultimately chose to forego the very long and very short barreled varieties for something that might be more practically carried and deployed. If I ever go hunt brown bear, this will be my backup weapon.

Caliber:.500 Smith & Wesson Magnum
Capacity:5
Barrel Length:6.5"
Frame:X-frame
Weight:60.7 oz
Trigger:SA: 4 lb 1 oz, DA: ?

I purchased this handgun in 2020.

Status

It's a hammer.

Ammunition

I need to test the accuracy of Grizzly's 500 gr. LFNGC hardcast ammunition. Theoretically, it is exactly what I want, so if it shoots reasonably well, why go through the effort of developing my own?
