Notes: .300 HAM'R
The SCR, now rebuilt for .300 HAM'R, functioned flawlessly, with one caveat: dropping the bolt with the charge handle left the firearm out-of-battery somehow, whereas dropping it with the bolt catch worked fine. Also, I've noticed that last round hold open isn't working. I don't know if that's a peculiarity of the SCR, or if there's a problem with the bolt catch or magazine.
I used all 20 rounds getting the rifle sighted in at 50 yards. It should put me on paper at 100 yards.
Wilson Combat 130 gr. JSP/HHC actual velocity: 2438 fps (versus manufacturer spec of 2500 fps). Accuracy was a little hard to judge, because I was wearing a lot of puffy layers, which may have been causing the verticle stringing observed in a lot of my groups. The one group where I tried to control that was fairly tight, about ½" at 50 yards.
Notes: .21 Sharp
I also sent 10 rounds of .21 Sharp FMJ down range at 50 yards. Accuracy was okay, but nothing to write home about. Except for one flyer (could have been the first defouling round), the group was under an inch (2 MOA). The group also printed about two inches to the right (of where I have the scope zeroed for the JHP ammo).
.21 Sharp 37 gr. FMJ actual velocity: 1416 fps (versus manufacturer spec of 1370 fps).
